Params is a plugin designed for developers. It allows you to add some more fields for the articles, the categories, the sections and the users.
The plugin is based on the concept of parameters of Joomla, it stores its data in the field parameters (params or attribs) of the related table (#__content, #__categories, #__sections, #__users).
All extra fields are displayed in the Object Manager and can be accessed by other extensions using the object JParameter.
