PCChess is a component to play EMail chess games. It was originally written by Robert Prince as an extension for Joomla 1.0.
Based on this code ( Version 0.8 ) I ported the component to Joomla 1.5 . All security issues should be fixed because I completly use the Joomla API in any matter. This port was sponsored by Fjodor Schäfer and the 'Dauerschach Community' ( a german chess community ).

Due to the fact that Robert Prince didn't reply to any mail I send him, and the fact that PCChess was released under the GPL I took over the project.
Marian Tanase has made a new website for it.
