This is a Flash puzzle game for the Joomla! content management system. This would be suitable for a site aimed at children - or for adults who like puzzles. The component displays images in a selected folder as a jigsaw puzzle. Additional user-created images can easily be added, and a different folder can be specified - it is possible to display multiple versions of the component using different images, with differing difficulty levels. The game requires the Flash plugin to be enabled in the user's browser.

There is a fully flexible layout that can be integrated into any web page, and an unlimited number of pictures can be displayed.

News

The long awaited version 3 of Com Jigsaw is now available. This includes some great new features, including a puzzle timer which posts the user's time scores to a database table.

The puzzle also includes social sharing. Encourage puzzle users to post a link to your site on their Twitter feed or Facebook profile.

Release History

* Version 2 is now compatible with Joomla 1.6 and 1.7.
* It also now displays a thumbnail of the completed puzzle image
* plus it automatically resizes the display of the puzzle to fit the layout whatever the image size.
* The release Version 2.0.3 fixes some issues including improved language support for Joomla 1.6 and 1.7, there is no need to update unless you are having problems with this.
* Release version 2.0.4 fixes some minor problems
