This plug-in integrates the gravatar.com service into Joomla, enabling you to add avatars to your user profiles without much effort. The plug-in works without any core hacks thanks to Joomla 1.6's JForm library.

gravatar.com enables user to have the same avatar across multiple websites and is just on sites like github.com and the Joomla Idea Pool.
