The original RSS feed aggregator has returned! And now it supports any type of Joomla content, full text importing and import previews!

Feed Gator Imports RSS feeds into your Joomla! database. The import can be into any kind of content component as long as there is a plugin to support it. Get more control over the syndicated content on your site!

The uninstall process for 2.3 has been changed so that the database tables are removed. YOU WILL LOSE ALL FEED GATOR DATA WHEN UNINSTALLING. This will change but is necessary at present...


Many, many, many changes and developments for 2.3 including:
-Revamped admin.
-Revamped and reworked code for most areas.
-New method for tracking imported articles.
-New method for tracking feed items to avoid duplicates (alternative for those feeds which cause problems with the standard method).
-Easy installer and upgrade path.
-Added truncating introtext by char, word and sentence with new HTML safe algorithm.
-HTML tag cleaning and neutralising by attribute.
-Image downloading to server (relative URLs fixed)
-Enclosure support
-Ability to set fopen or cURL wrappers depending on your setup
-Lots of bugfixes.
-Tools for duplicate handling, repairing etc.
-System plugin for tracking article deletions etc. in development
