In a web browser an access key or accesskey allows a user to immediately jump to a specific web page via the keyboard.

Alienation AccessKey extension for Joomla 1.5 (component + module) allows you to define access keys for pages on your web site. The component allows for adding/editing/deleting of access keys. The module makes the access keys available in the front end and will also trigger (with alt/ctrl/shift) a floating transparent menu showing the available access keys. Simply assign the hidden module to any module position in your template.
